Sunnyside Apartments - Family and Graduate Housing

The Cottonwood and Spruce buildings of Sunnyside Apartments, are newly constructed buildings completed August 2023 that provide housing and community programs for students with families, (married/partnered students and students with children), and single graduate students.

The University of Utah is thrilled to continue their long-standing tradition of providing housing for non-traditional students, supporting a safe, inclusive, and welcoming community where a diverse population of students, staff, and their families can make a home.

Flexible lease options, comfortable, modern and clean environment within close proximity to your classrooms, labs and transportation will make your life easier while you pursue your degree. Utilities, high speed internet, cable television, laundry, study space, playgrounds, and reservable community space will be included in your monthly rent.

Family Apartments will be unfurnished and we will have 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedroom, and 3 Bedroom apartments available.

Graduate Apartments will be lightly furnished and rented at a “By the Bed” rate in Studios, 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedroom, and 3 Bedroom apartments. Typical furnishings will include XL twin bed, mattress, entertainment unit, chest of drawers, nightstand, kitchen table and chairs. Rental rates below are per person, rooms are not shared.
